Sayed Jalal Zahabi received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Yazd University, and Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), in 2007, 2010, and 2015, respectively. Since September 2016, he has been a postdoctoral researcher with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at IUT. He has also served as an invited lecturer with the Computer and IT Group, and the Biomedical Engineering Group at IUT, since Feb. 2016, and September 2017, respectively. His research interest broadly includes information theory, data compression, statistical signal processing, machine learning, biomedical signal processing and bioinformatics. He was a recipient of the 2016 Best Ph.D. Thesis Award at Isfahan University of Technology.
